BEACH BUDDIES RETURNS TO ITS ROOTS
THE coastline where Beach Buddies first began ten years ago is the venue for this weekend’s volunteer session, as the charity moves towards the end of its 10th anniversary year.
The beach at Balleira, Kirk Michael is the choice for the session on Sunday morning (December 10th) at 10.30am.
The usual basic informal rules apply . . No 1) Everyone is welcome, especially families, plus well-behaved dogsNo 2) Beach Buddies supplies all the kitNo 3) Beach Buddies removes all the materials collected, recycling items such as glass bottles, tin cans, plastic bottles and metalNo 4) Please bring your own gloves if you prefer – and wear appropriate clothing for the weatherNo 5) Enjoy yourself and leave afterwards feeling you have made a difference!
See you there! 10.30am Sunday morning, December 10th, Balleira, Kirk Michael. (access is via the lane half way through Kirk Michael village which also leads to Michael United Football Club).
• Advance notice: There will not be a beach cleaning volunteer session next weekend as we are travelling to the UK to meet the Rossall Beach Buddies on the Fylde coast.
